PILATUS Aircraft receives support for its CS-23 certification

Domain
Air
Two Pilatus training aircraft flying over the coast.

Challenge

Detailed monitoring of failures and their airworthiness implications, safety management throughout the entire life cycle, calculation of in-service reliability data, and certification of new models and major modifications are key activities for this client. Its in-house Safety & Reliability and Health & Environment project management teams are supported by BETWEEN Group's engineering team.

Solution

BETWEEN Group provides certification support in four areas: FRACAS, through ongoing collaboration in failure handling and the analysis of reliability and airworthiness results; maintainability, with MSG-3 analysis and the master maintenance plan for certifying new models; H&E compliance, identifying and classifying hazardous substances; and Safety, with engineers deployed on site for extended periods to support the in-house team throughout the entire life cycle.

Scope

  • Safety throughout the entire life cycle
  • Calculation of in-service reliability data
  • Alerts and change logging
  • Monitoring of failures and their airworthiness implications
  • Integration with operational data
