Challenge

BETWEEN Group supported the Safety cycle for certification from prototype design through to completion of the PDR. The company did not have an in-house Safety & Reliability team and benefited directly from the support of BETWEEN Group's engineering team.

Solution

The main activities focused on the aircraft FHA and a complete set of SFHAs for all mechanical, electrical and electronic systems; FTA of all systems to verify compliance with the required failure rates; and the PSSA to consolidate all analyses and submit the conclusions to the certifying authority.
